A Northern California based, greater bay area message board focusing on North American Birds of Prey. Just a message board where we can share sightings, photos, stories, information and more... The North Bay Hawks yahoo group is an arm of West County Hawk Watch, which is a local raptor education and identification outreach group with a special interest and emphasis in helping people learn about the natural history, current threats and identification of birds of prey. W.C.H.W. was established over a decade ago involving citizen scientists specializing in raptor identification, photography, documentation, education, consultation, networking and surveys.
